«Dear partner,
I am writing to you as the new CEO of Saga Furs. Some of you I already know personally and others I hope to get to know better in the coming weeks and months.
As some of you may know, I was actually born into a fur farmer family and I have lived and worked very close to this industry for most of my life. In addition to fur farming, I have also gained leadership experience from different CEO positions internationally. I have been part of the Saga-family best part of ten years, so this company is very familiar to me and I believe in our mission and our employees. My driving force is to seek continuous business improvement throughout the whole value chain. As the new CEO, I am truly committed to boosting sustainability as a transparent, value adding base combining fur and fashion industry.
Over the years Saga Furs has gained the title of the most trusted name in fur industry, offering highest quality, broadest selection of fur, and the most comprehensive certification and traceability systems. We have led the way in numerous innovative aspects and as an example also by offering our customers the online auction possibility, when Covid-19 prevented everybody from taking part in a live auction.
It is clearer than ever before, that all the players in the industry need to work together in order to pull through this challenging time. The unprecedented times we are living in now, will make us adjust to the situation and we will come out on the other, better business side.
